Nick Adamopoulos Managing Director

N

ick Adamopoulos’ has an undergraduate degree in Economics along with a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in Advanced International Business from the University of South Florida.


Nick Adamopoulos has cross industry work experience working in various roles in the United States and Greece. Beginning his career working at the Tampa Chamber of Commerce and the Center of Economic Research & Development in Florida in which he was involved in drafting country profile and demographic reports, assisting companies in their international expansion and import/export efforts. He conducted economic research and established a database of importers within Florida. He also helped create, design and launch CEDR’s website.


He was then recruited as a consulting associate at Furash & Company based in Washington, DC. At Furash, he was involved in various market research, marketing, demographic, strategic and financial planning projects with large multi-national companies. He also directed a research study analyzing the best markets for business in the United States and co-authored an article published in Bank Marketing Magazine.


Mr. Adamopoulos’ then move to Exceed Corporation in Washington, DC where he was a senior international trade analyst. At Exceed he was primarily responsible for analyzing sales and import figures within the United States and drafted reports interpreting company and industry trends.


He returned to Greece to take a position as an area manager for Express Publishing based in Athens, Greece. He managed the firm’s distributor relations across many of the firm’s 80 international markets. He was responsible for maintaining relations with various distributor accounts, working to ensure the continued increase in sales of the firm’s products while responsible for conducting business development and negotiating distribution agreements.


During his various travels, he realized that although there were many high-quality Greek products available within Greece, there was a lack of quality Greek products on the international market due to the fact that many Greek producers lacked the resources and expertise to expand into the international market. Realizing this market need and with his background and international contacts he would be well suited to assist Greek producers gain access to international markets he consequently launched Export Link.
